The only lenses that will let you get down to 1.2 are well over $1000.Michelehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08013896084846641069noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1170116880352300881.post-16574592766514050642009-03-28T03:00:00.000-07:002009-03-28T03:00:00.000-07:00I so miss those flowers...makes me think of spring...I so miss those flowers...makes me think of spring time on campus... :) I know you probably have some cute shots of those kids too...why're you holding out on us??Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11749102486551585185noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1170116880352300881.post-75923563043923825522009-03-27T21:01:00.000-07:002009-03-27T21:01:00.000-07:00I love that pic! I wish flowers were blooming here.

As for the lens, at 18mm the lowest f number you will be able to get is 3.5 and at 55mm, the lowest f number you will be able to get is 5.6. This is of course assuming that you have the 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 kit lens. The aperture isn't a constant number with this lens so it changes depending on what focal length you are using. I hope that made sense :o)Lori Zhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03488125744836801125noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1170116880352300881.post-84072481843007172102009-03-27T19:34:00.000-07:002009-03-27T19:34:00.000-07:00Oh my, that's a gorgeous shot!Oh my, that's a gorgeous shot!Megshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04396965000651460588noreply@blogger.com
