Look Mom, No Hands!
She hasn't really tried to take any steps yet, she's pretty content just to stand and bounce, as long as someone is fussing over her, of course! Now, does anyone have suggestions for an 8 foot wide baby gate?! Seriously, our entry to our dining room/kitchen is about 8 feet wide, and it would be AWESOME to be able to gate that off sometimes!

Ahhhh!!!! So stinking cute! Sorry, no great suggestions!
ReplyDeletelook at places like plow and hearth that sell wood stoves. They sell free standing ones and one's that can permanently attach to the wall and that have a gate in the middle (sort of like an inside fence) It's short enough to be stepped over by adults but tall enough to keep kids in. The gate requires enough pressure that a kid has no chance of getting it open. We had two sections over 12 feet long that split our living room and family room in half since we had a wood stove in one of the rooms to heat the whole house. We used a free standing gate and a gate that attached to the wall for double security. It was great, we could turn the entire family room into a giant playroom!
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOSH! Look at her! That smile says it all.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe she's standing! Holy cow!
ReplyDeleteWow!! Go Lizzy!
ReplyDeleteShe looks so happy!
ReplyDeleteCute! Isaac has just starting doing this but I haven't caught a pic of it yet. I'm too nervous to take my hands that far away from him, haha. Love her thigh rolls!
ReplyDeleteLook at her go! I'm fearing the same problem once the baby comes. The doorway from our dining room to our family room is extra wide. Sadly, no suggestions. I haven't looked into it too much.
ReplyDeleteRockin photo...gosh I really want to meet her. You should ask someone handy to make something...might be good to have something custom and I do believe people love to help out parents\households with adorable smiling kids ;)
