Today's Burning Question of the Day is: What is your absolute favorite breakfast?
Since I'm allergic to eggs, my breakfast choices can be pretty limited sometimes. And really, I'm pretty much a bowl-of-cereal or piece-of-fruit girl during the work week. But on weekends, my ideal breakfast would look like this:
-Whole wheat waffle with peanut butter and a smidge of maple syrup
-Half a grapefruit with brown sugar sprinkled on top
-A couple pieces of bacon
-A half glass of skim milk
What about you?

Both of these posts just showed up at the same time - good old google reader delay :(. Anyway, I'm answering the breakfast question because politics make me cry/feel uninformed.
ReplyDeleteI loooove Instant Breakfast or cheerios for typical mornings. But on a special day I'm all about an omelet and turkey sausage. Yum!
Question about your egg allergy (both my sister and B were allergic to eggs as kids but out grew them) - when was the last time you got tested/tried them yourself? It's a really common allergy in kids but most adults aren't allergic to eggs. I'd be interested to know if you're an exception to that rule.
Stupid google reader- I LOVE breakfast.
ReplyDeleteI think my favorite is pancakes with peanut butter too- but I also like PB&J toast. I guess I just love melty peanut butter.
(I love eggs- scrambled dry as a bone. with ketchup.)
Just popping in to say I like your blog! :) My fav breakfast would have to be a Belgian waffle topped with sliced banana, whipped cream, butter, and syrup. I also like a side of cream and sugar with some coffee in it.
ReplyDeleteI love breakfast, but rarely eat more than a bowl of cereal or toast, because I hate feeling like my day is shot off the bat!
ReplyDeleteAdditionally, I'm not sure I could pick a favorite. I looove pancakes (especially with chocolate chips or blueberries), spinach omelets and sausage!
I like oatmeal, with all the good toppings. I also love crepes, and/or hard boiled eggs. I'm not a big breakfast person, but those would be my choice! :)
ReplyDeleteEggs Benedict, hands down! And with some crispy hash browns with lots of ketchup. Biscuits and gravy come in at a close second. I love breakfast. I'd much rather go out to breakfast than dinner any day! Now I'm hungry. lol
