I added three more color options for the room--the top two have a little bit of a green undertone in real life, but otherwise they're all pretty much true-to-shade. So, which do you think is the perfect aqua/turquoise for the nursery?!
Remember, a description of what we're going for is below!
I think I am going with number 3. Although really, all of them will look good I think. I really like your vision. If you end up going for some pink accents it might be cute to paint a cherry tree! ;) Btw, that was exactly the color scheme for my bro's wedding! FUNNY!
I say number six. I love dark bold colors, but going all the way dark can make the room look smaller. What helps alleviate that is a white horizontal border on the floor and ceiling, don't know why but it works.
Can I steal your tree idea for Carolina's room please? I thought I had come up with that on my own and now realize I must have heard you mention it in your own nursery plans. My color scheme is vribant pansy purple with a hand painted lilac-ish bush sketch in a lighter pastel, but it's definitely similar. Can two of these such rooms possibly exist in the world? :)
I really like #4. I think it would work great for either a boy or a girl. I also love love love the tree idea and I may think of doing something similar when we have our first child!
I think it is easier for me to rule out the ones I don't care as much for and those would be the two on the end of the bottom row. My advice would be to take the one that is pleasing to you. When it is the only one on the wall it will be the perfect one. Love, Mom
My vote is probably 1, 3 or 6. If you want a white siloheutte then go with a dark color and if you want a dark colored silohuette then go with a lighter color. I don't know if that helps. You could even pick two of the hues and make the wall with the siloheutte your accent wall which would be darker than the rest.
That is a seriously tough choice. If you want something a little more bold, I say #6. But if you want something a little more bright and light, I say #4.

my vote is for 1 or 6. I think the others may be too light.
ReplyDeleteWhooo...I really like 4 now! And I also like 5 a lot more seeing it with the other colors.
ReplyDeleteAqua is one of my favorite colors. :) They are all so pretty. #2 and 4 get my vote.
ReplyDelete3 or 4!
ReplyDeleteThey all look great though.
I vote 5, but any will look great.
ReplyDeleteJust to make your life harder- my husband and I pick 1.
ReplyDeleteI really like number 3- it is a nice shade of turquoise- not too bright. If you are going for bright, I would chose 6.

ReplyDeleteI really don't love #5, it's too "blue".... I vote for 1 or 6 :)
ReplyDeleteI vote for 1! I love the bold color!
ReplyDeleteI love this color idea for a nursery! I like opt 5 I think the best. Good luck :)
ReplyDeleteI like 5 a lot - it's more muted and will allow you more liberty with your accent color. Then I vote for 2 or 3.
