Today's BQOTD: Do you have any bad habits? What are they?
As for me? Sometimes I find myself being contrary just to be contrary--not because I actually care about the issue.
Coffee. I'm totally addicted. I've dramatically cut down on the frequency with which I BUY coffee, but I still do it.
I hate cleaning bathrooms, and sometimes I just don't do it.
PS- I'll be back around noon to announce the winner of the giveaway! You still have a few hours to enter if you haven't already!

I think my bad habit is to be pessimistic. Tony has helped me see the more positive side of things, but sometimes I get hung up on the more negative side of things.
ReplyDeleteOh, I have hundreds, probably. The one coming to my mind right now is I usually just let laundry sit in the dryer for day sit adn then have to re-launder or iron everything. I leave towels all over our house after a shower. But I have ditched my Diet Coke habit - July 1st will be 6 months without a sip.
ReplyDeleteOh, so many! But the two that come to mind are: I complain about my looks way too much and I never put laundry away. I hate to admit that at times our bedroom looks more like a 15 year old's and not one that belongs to a 30 year old married couple. Oh, one more...I'm consistently late. Not by a lot but enough that I'm speeding to get to my destination. I guess somewhere deep down I hate being early and waiting for others to show up.
ReplyDeleteHmm staying up too late, not taking the time to take care of myself, too much time on the internet and I could probably shop a little less too. ;)
ReplyDeleteahh, bad habits. too many to list. but one? being online when i should be doing other things :) case in point: right now ... i am behind on bible study homework, have a ton of housework that is calling, etc etc ... and i am checking out your blog. :)
ReplyDeleteDrinking too much diet coke, and staying up way too late are the first things that come to mind. Though I'm sure there's many more :)
ReplyDeleteProcrastinating, worrying about things I can't control, and up until 4 months ago? Biting my nails. A $20 gel manicure every 2-3 weeks cured that!
ReplyDeleteI'm a stay at home mom who is awful at doing anything stay at home mom-ish other than actually being the mom. I have fallen into a lazy schedule which involves waking up when we wake up and never getting around to the cooking or cleaning. I'm fighting tooth and nail to fix it but I got the poor baby used to this schedule so we're both all off.
ReplyDeleteWell Bad Habits...Oh my... I have too many...
ReplyDelete* Staying up too late (and regreting it by the time I set the alarm clock).
* Wating until the last minute to do so many things.
* Wanting to please everyone, it has gotten me in trouble so many times.
* Having expectations, evenif I say that I have no expectation.
* And last but not least, been uncapable of enjoying the present, worrying about the future.
