Baby Names

We spent part of the 4th of July weekend with some friends--they already have a 3 year old daughter, and are expecting another baby girl this fall. The mom was talking about how they still hadn't picked out a name.

I asked their 3-year old daughter what SHE thought her baby sister should be named.

She thought for a minute or two and said, "I know exactly what my baby sister is going to be named."

"Oh yeah? What will she be named?" I responded.

Very seriously, the little girl replied, "Tinkerbell."

  1. That is SO cute.

And to answer your question, no I don't have a business license as of now. I am just playing it by ear to see how busy I get. I have only done maybe 4 or 5 shoots, so this is definitely the beginning!

  2. My boss' daughter wanted to name her new sister Rainbow Lemonade...kinda catchy, right?

  3. Love it! My little God daughter who will be 3 in September has a new baby sister do at the end of October and she told me the other day her name is going to be Sweetie Pie.

  4. That is too cute! I love little kiddos! I have a friend that is due anyday now and her 4 year old daughter thought her new baby sister should be named Hawkeye. They are from Iowa and huge Hawkeye fans!

  5. Aw I miss her cute little face!!

  6. awww, that is too cute! I actually knew a little girl whose's first name was Tinker!

  7. Too cute! Sounds like something Lillian (3) would say....since she's obsessed with Tinkerbell these days!!!

  8. But of course. I mean, who WOULDN'T think that a baby sister didn't need to be named Tinkerbell? =)

  9. LOL! Good one!

My friends toddler wanted to name her little brother "Sniff Sniff Pineapple" or "Chocolate Bubbles," depending on the day!
